Professional Development

Beta Mu Epsilon members are leaders on campus and within the Biomedical Engineering community.  By joining Beta Mu Epsilon, you will gain access to a network of academic, industrial, and research connections that will provide you with opportunities for professional growth.

 

Beta Mu Epsilon hosts a variety of workshops including improving resumes, creating effective LinkedIn profiles, and prepping for career fairs. The following companies are examples of places alumni and current members have interned and/or currently work at:

Academic Support
 

With an average GPA of 3.74, the members of Beta Mu Epsilon are committed to succeeding academically. You will often find familiar faces in each of your BIOMEDE courses. In addition to supporting relationships in the classroom, the professional fraternity hosts an academic support program, tutoring, backpacking events, and SUGS/Ph.D. workshops to meet the needs of all members.

On-Campus Involvement
 

In addition to achieving in the classroom, members of Beta Mu Epsilon are involved in a variety of research labs and organizations. From performing PCR to building prosthetic arms, members take advantage of many different opportunities on campus

Membership

Above all else, Beta Mu Epsilon is a closely knit group of friends. The fraternity holds multiple volunteering opportunities each month, coordinates IM sports teams each season, and holds frequent social events. Outside formal events, brothers find opportunities to spend time together. Whether at the library or at football games, you'll always have friends to be with.
