Q. Is Beta Mu Epsilon Co-ed?
A. Yes! Women currently make up over 50% of our fraternity.
Q. How much does it cost to join Beta Mu Epsilon?
A. In past years, dues have been approximately $75 per semester, with an additional fee for new members. However, scholarships are available to members who qualify.
Q. Do I have to be a biomedical engineer to join Beta Mu Epsilon?
A. No, Beta Mu accepts all students, regardless of major! Although the majority of the students are biomedical engineers, we have students across many different majors in the College of Engineering and LSA.
Q. How much of a time commitment is joining Beta Mu Epsilon?
A. Beta Mu Epsilon hosts weekly events for new members where attendance is mandatory. New members are expected to organize time to meet current members and their recruitment class, along with earning a set number of points by attending mass fraternity events. At the end of the recruitment semester, new members will present a biomedical design project to the entire fraternity.
